Brad & Angie Win at People's Choice Awards

Whether or not they had a dastardly affair, people love Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

The couple were among the big winners at Wednesday night's People's Choice Awards in Los Angeles. The Wanted star was the pick for favorite female action star and the Curious Case of Benjamin Button actor was named favorite leading man. The power couple weren't there to pick up their awards, but there was lots of other star power to go around. Here are some highlights...

  • The Dark Knight was the night's big winner taking in five awards, including favorite movie. Onstage, Christian Bale, who was named favorite superhero, name checked the late Heath Ledger, who was also recognized in the favorite on-screen match up category.
  • Carrie Underwood, who has been linked to hot hockey player, nabbed three trophies -- favorite star under 35, favorite country song ("Last Name") and favorite female singer. "Fans and people voting for me are what gave me a career in the first place," Carrie said, acknowledging the voting by music lovers. "This is an amazing night."
  • Kate Hudson was stuck in traffic, so Ellen DeGeneres stepped in for her. The Bride Wars star arrived in time to collect the favorite leading lady award.
  • Hollywood's Top Money-Making $tar Will Smith picked up two awards (favorite male movie star and action star) and Reese Witherspoon was given a trophy for being favorite female movie star.
  • Backstage, Katherine Heigl, who accepted the trophy for best comedy movie for 27 Dresses, told reporters that she wore a pants suit because "it was after the holidays, so I didn't want to wear anything strapless or anything I had to suck in my stomach for."
  • After taking the honor of top female TV star for Samantha Who?, Christina Applegate, who revealed underwent surgery for breast cancer last year, said the award meant a lot to her after a difficult year. "I feel great. I really do," she told reporters backstage. "Each week gets easier and each week gets better."

    he can't cheat again. she's making sure he's sticking around for a while by popping out babies left and right and when she can't she adopts. keep filling up the house in hopes that you're not left alone in it. stop wearing long dresses are you self councious because all your tendons are bulging through you skin. eat something, put some muscle on you saging flesh.

    Okay, to Anonymous, the one who cant spell, the one who says Angie looks old and like shes had lots of work done, are you blind or stupid? Last time I saw a picture of Jennifer Aniston, she looked as if she could be the poster child for Botox!! Her face was ridiculously puffy, very obvious she had something done. So, either pull your head out of your ass or invest in some glasses and possibly an ESL class!

    Not everybody likes Brad and Angelina. To me they both suck. The only reason they are trying to do generous things is to keep their faces in the magazines. Let us live peaceful without seeing them anymore on magazines or movies. Move to anywhere but here.
