George Clooney Hurt In Motorcycle Accident!
George Clooney, 46, may be smooth with the ladies, but he has a thing or two to learn when it comes to riding a motorcycle!
On Sept. 21, the Ocean’s Thirteen star was hit by a vehicle while riding around New Jersey with new squeeze Sarah Larson, 28, according to TMZ.com. George and Sarah both suffered injuries.
“George Clooney was involved in a motorcycle accident this afternoon after the bike he was riding was hit by a car,” George’s publicist Stan Rosenfield told Star just hours after the mishap.
“He was treated for a hairline fracture of a rib and road rash at Palisades Medical Center in Palisades, NJ. Sarah Larson, who was riding on the motorcycle with Clooney, suffered a broken foot. Clooney and Larson were released shortly after entering the facility.”
George has been in New Jersey for the past few weeks to star alongside Brad Pitt in the comedy Burn After Reading, about two gym employees who try to sell a disc belonging to a CIA operative.
There is no word yet from George’s publicist if the accident will delay shooting on the movie, which is due out in 2008.
His relationship with Sarah isn’t new. He met her at the Ocean’s Thirteen premiere in Las Vegas where Sarah was working as a waitress. He has since spent time with her at his villa in Lake Como, Italy, and has taken her out to several high-profile events, including the Venice Film Festival, where he kissed her in public.
We wish George a speedy recovery!
