AJ McLean: Back on the Bottle
It looks like Backstreet Boy AJ McLean, who has completed two stints in rehab, has fallen off the wagon!
The singer was spotted stumbling around after leaving pal Nick Carter's L.A. birthday bash on Jan. 27 and an eyewitness tells Star AJ appeared "wasted" yet again at the Hollywood bar Big Wangs on Saturday, Feb. 7.
"He was stumbling and talking to anyone that would give him the time of day," says a patron who was at Big Wangs. "It seemed like he got ditched at the bar. AJ was messy and kept ordering one draft beer after another, looking for people to talk to in the back bar area."
AJ, 31, had been sober for about six years. "But he’s back to drinking again," a second source confirms. “It’s hard for him to stay sober.” The source says that career trouble is to blame for AJ’s woes.
“After Backstreet fizzled, AJ’s solo career never really took off. He hoped to be a successful solo artist like Justin Timberlake, but it didn’t work out.”

a.j. you just need to be Alex not a.j. yeah,it may your charactor on stage but you don't have to drink just because you think you do. Just be Alex,be yourself. I don't think you want your fans to against that's not how I want it and I'm sure you don't want it that way. Please go back to rehab. you need it. Much love

I think A.j was doing really well when he stoped drinking. I mean I have a crush on nick and A.j both and I don't want A.J to die like nick almost. And the backstreet boys always and forever will be my role models.I just got one thing to say to A.j I don't want you to be like everybody that's young that has died in the past.And I know you don't or won't read this.

what a shame if this is the path he is taking again but it has got to be a very hary thing to kick he is a man with a talent i wish him well & can't wait for the solo album.

just because he had a drink one time, everybody is told hes back on the wagon common give me break, leave him alone , and let him have at least one fun night.that doesnt make him a alcoholic.
