First Photos: Angelina Jolie Gets Salty
Angelina Jolie is back to work — filming the spy thriller Salt.
The first photos of Angie as CIA operative Evelyn A. Salt have been released and you can see she'll be a woman of many disguises.
"She's a character you never know," producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura told USA Today. "People who think they know the real her may or may not. Those who think they can tell whether she's in a disguise also may or may not."
As Star reported back in August, Angelina replaced Tom Cruise in the role, which was originally supposed to be about a man named Edwin A. Salt. He dropped out of the film over a scheduling conflict, so the script was completely rewritten for a female lead
"We had to rethink the whole notion of how a man vs. a woman operates in the business world, in personal relationship and in friendships," di Bonaventura said to the paper.
Salt costars Liev Schreiber as Winter, her boss in the CIA's Russia office.
Shooting, which begins today, will take place in New York City and Washington, DC. The film is scheduled to hit theaters in 2010.

Children are a blessing and need a full time mother or father. Fame is false and fleeting, when the kids are grown the love and attention they were given-will surface. I raised 5 children and it was the hardest but most rewarding time of my life and there is no amount of money or jewels that could compare to spending time with my successful now adult daughters. Poor Brad, now that the lust has passed I hope for the kids sake she will be the type of mother you wanted for your children.
