Angelina Jolie Talks Pregnancy, Nannies and More!
Angelina Jolie recently sat down with Vanity Fair for a new interview — and posed for a multi-page photo spread. Here are highlights from the July cover story, which hits newsstands next week.
Angie on being pregnant: "I love it. It makes me feel like a woman. It makes me feel that all the things about my body are suddenly there for a reason. It makes you feel round and supple, and to have a little life inside you is amazing. Also, I'm fortunate. I think some women have a different experience depending on their partner. I think that affects it. I happen to be with somebody (Brad Pitt) who finds pregnancy very sexy. So that makes me feel very sexy."
Angie on Shiloh's 2006 birth in Namibia: "We were in this little hospital in Africa when Shi was born. I don't think there was anybody else in the hospital. It was just a little cottage, the three of us. It ended up being the greatest thing... I had a C-section and I found it fascinating. I didn't find it a sacrifice and I didn't find it a painful experience. I found it a fascinating miracle of what a body can do."
Angie on her growing international family: "When I was growing up I wanted to adopt, because I was aware there were kids that didn't have parents. It's not a humanitarian thing, because I don't see it as a sacrifice. It's a gift. We're all lucky to have each other. I look at Shiloh — because, obviously, physically, she is the one that looks like Brad and I when we were little — and say, 'If these were our brothers and sisters, how much would we have known by the time we were six that it took into our 30s and 40s to figure out?' I suppose I'm giving them the childhood I always wished I had."
Angie on nannies: "We don't ever have anybody spend the night. We may have to adjust that when the next one comes. But we do have ladies that work with us, and they're also from different cultures and back-grounds. One lady's a Vietnamese teacher — wonderful. One is of Congolese descent from Belgium. Another is from the States and is really creative and does art programs."

I personally think all the hate out there is nothing but pure jealousy!! Angie is the prettiest female actress, Brad the handsomest male- no doubt!! And one more main point you haters out there overlook, if they were as shallow (as all you negative writers) why would they be ALWAYS helping out charities? Why would they give a crap about hurricane Katrina victims? For God's sake A-holes, they don't NEED to give a dime for anything for publicity, they would get it regardless, being the great actors they are. And get over mule-face Jen. Her career was more important to her than Brad, and wanting to start a family. Brangelina is a match made in heaven! And lastly, about their "morals" or lifestyle, do yhou ever see Brad and Angie at the nightclubs drunk in L.A. as so many other Hollywood celebs? Of course not, and yet some idiots out there count how many children are out there with them...Get lives people!! Maybe donate to a local charity, or adopt a child needing love.....

Hi, if you read this Angie, I am a mother of 4 grown children and I have 4 grandchildren. They are all normal healthy adults whom I am proud of. My son Daniel (25 years old) is in Iraq serving our country. I did a great job raising these wonderful adults. So, If you need the best grandma for your kids, look me up.

For the Jolie haters: Bulletin: No man who is in love and happy can be 'stolen'.... Victim Jen must take fifty percent for the failure of her marriage. And then let it be..nothing less sexy than a victim....especially next to an empowered woman like Jolie. It is a case of Aniston Desperately Seeking Something...while in a bikini at forty....rather sad doncha think, haters? Seems there are a lot of men she can't hold..now she's with Studley John....time she got a grip on the fact that she needs some visible substance in her existence. How many of her movies were run at Cannes....so as an actress she is mediocre at best and as a woman, say what???
To the Brangelina Lover: Men being stolen to sooth own egos happen all the time. Actually happens a lot in marriages. I think it's called change of life and the seven year itch! I have no respect for Pitt and in a way I feel for Jolie. I hope being with him is worth it. I do believe Jolie loves Pitt but I think she is just as blind as Aniston was with him. Those two women have taken the brunt of everything. Although I believe Jolie wrong in what her part of the mess, Pitt never stopped it. Pitt is immature and is conceited. For those children's sake I hope that he grows up, and becomes a person that would even deserve the love he has received by two women that have more class in their baby fingers than Pitt. -- whitney |
