Ashlee to Move Into Melrose Place
Ashlee Simpson-Wentz is a working mom!
Pete Wentz's wife has joined the cast of the new Melrose Place series on the CW, says Hollywood Reporter.
Ashlee, whose first TV role was on 7th Heaven, will play a Tinseltown transplant with a big secret. The character she will play is said to be modeled after the Southern sweetheart played by Amy Locane in the original series.
Guess she'll have to kick up her Texas accent!
It was previously reported that Katie Cassidy and perhaps Mischa Barton will also appear on the new Melrose.
Ashlee, who gave birth to son Bronx in November, is easing back into TV with a guest role on the March 18 episode of CBS' CSI: NY. Her rocker hubby will join her on the small screen and they'll play a Bonnie and Clyde-type couple.

Ashlee did herself a huge disfavour by getting that nose job; she, like Jennifer Grey, was much prettier with her original face. It is a shame the "competition" with her sister got to her.

I totally agree with Kelly-this photo makes me want to punch her out-there is something deeply disturbing in Ashlees eyes; she looks insane like that octo mom and I feel acutely sorry for her son Bronx-I hope he has a good nanny.
