Ashley Greene on What Makes a Guy Sexy
She's been linked with some of Hollywood's hunkiest leading men — Chace Crawford and Ian Somerhalder, to name two — but Twilight stunner Ashley Greene says good looks alone aren’t enough to grab her attention.
"I pass a million hot guys on the street, but most of them aren't sexy," she declares in Men's Fitness magazine's November issue. "Being sexy is about intrigue and mystery — not putting everything out on the table. That's the kind of guy I want to be around. I just want to jump his bones!"
The 22-year-old actress, who moved to L.A. from Jacksonville, Fla., all by herself when she was just 17, is very independent, and she expects the guys she dates to be the same way. "If a guy is too clingy or needy, I actually get afraid of hurting him — and I can’t deal with that," she says.
Another no-no? "I hate jealous guys! Everyone can be jealous. We all have that in us. Push the demon down, or it's going to drive the other person away."
As for turn-ons, Ashley says that confidence is key. "It's attitude that gives a guy an edge. When you walk around thinking, 'Everyone wants me,' that's what comes across. Those guys just scream sex!"
But unlike a lot of girls, Ashley isn't a sucker for grand romantic gestures. "Don't throw petals on the floor if they have no meaning. I would rather have a fun, casual relationship than have someone pretending they’re completely in love with me."
Above all, she wants a team player. "I need a guy that understands give-and-take — I can’t be the only one giving."
