Ashley Olsen: I'm Done With the Acting Thing
At the ripe old age of 22, Ashley Olsen is retiring... from acting.
One of Hollywood's most famous twins — who, along with sis Mary-Kate, got her start as a baby on Full House — says her professional focus is going to be on fashion, not acting.
"I've been transitioning from acting as a kid to doing something that I'm choosing for myself — to be part of the fashion industry," she tells VMAN magazine. "That's what I want for my future. It has nothing to do with my past, nothing to do with anyone else's agenda. And I followed my heart the whole way."
Ash runs not one but two fashion labels — The Row and Elizabeth and James — with input from her sister. Running the fashions lines "is really something that I'm doing while my sister still wants to focus on acting," says Ashley. "She's my partner...but she trusts me with the everyday. I mean, I see her like ten times a day."
And while celebrities seem to have gone on an Internet bender these days — blogging, Twittering, Facebooking and the like — Ash says she keeps her personal business offline.
"I totally went internal," she says. "I want to be behind the scenes and I don't want people to know anything about my personal life. I don't blog. I don't read any of that."
For the record, she's still dating Justin Bartha, who accompanied her to the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala Benefit earlier this month.

There eyes never look bad, stupid people. I mean you should see how I wear my make up haha. And people,they've been in tv shows and movies since full house. Try "Weeds", "Samantha Who?", "Two Of A Kind", "So Little Time". and Moviewise, both of them were in The Challenge, New York Minute, Getting there, When In Rome, Passport to Paris, Winning London, It takes Two, To Grandmother's House We Go, Our Lips Are Sealed, and many more. It would be nice to have all their money and be able to do whatever we want. To just wake up one day and say "Bah, no more acting, let's just make clothes!"

Who taught them how to put make-up on? Their eyes always look horrible! And I dont ever remember seeing them in anything but full house and they were babies..so explain to me how that is "acting"?

i don't think she has ever been an actress,i think she only wants to dedicate her life to throwing up and drugs. she just doesn't want to be in the public eye while she's doing it
