What's it about: Four friends go to a remote cabin to write a horror movie (and hook up). But then the horror movie actually starts to happen to them.
Low-budget: Roly-poly Chad likes hottie Michelle, but Michelle is hot for Chad's stud pal Matt. Catherine thinks Matt is her soulmate - but Matt thinks they're just a temporary fling. And, oh yeah, there's a guy with a bag over his head holding a machete, and he's lurking in the woods outside the cabin. If you've ever watched a film and thought, Hey, I could make a movie like that - well, this one will be downright inspiring.
Brothers Mark and Jay Duplass are part of a new wave of ultra-low-budget filmmakers, shooting on video, using unknowns - and coming up with films like this. But as seat-of-the-pants as it seems, it's also surprisingly funny and has a real story. Best of all, it keeps you guessing - like, who really is that Baghead in the woods?
Long story short: "Blair Witch" meets "90210" with jokes.
