Bill Murray's Wife Files for Divorce

Somehow Bill Murray's marriage became lost in translation.

The actor's second wife, Jennifer Butler Murray, filed for divorce from him after nearly 11 years of marriage. The papers were filed in May 12 in Charleston, South Carolina, where she owns a home.

The complaint alleges abusive behavior, drug and alcohol addiction, and frequent abandonment by the Academy Award nominee. According to the complaint, Jennifer moved in 2006 due to her husband's "adultery, addiction to marijuana and alcohol, abusive behavior, physical abuse, sexual addictions and frequent abandonment."

Bill has had an interesting year. In September, he was arrested for driving a golf cart while allegedly intoxicated while he was in Stockholm. He later explained that he was not drunk and he was merely driving people home when he made a detour to a 7-Eleven store.

In January, he was seen around Hollywood with ER and Brokeback Mountain actress Linda Cardellini. "We're friends and we might be doing a project together," Linda said at the time.

An attorney for Bill tells the Associated Press that the actor is deeply saddened by the breakup and is committed to the best interests of the couple's four children.

They say is one strange bird so I guess the truth is somewhere in the middle. If she stayed with this abusive man for 11 years ...she must have enjoyed the benefits of his wealth so call it even and move on

Look, he is an actor, not a God, and really only gets paid to entertain us. Let him be a mystery so we can enjoy his comedy again.
