Brangelina Makes $1 Million Donation
You'd think their total focus would be on the impending birth of twins, but Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are busy helping other people's children. The couple are lending their support to kids affected by the ongoing violence in Iraq with a $1 million donation to the International Rescue Committee.
The donation from the Jolie-Pitt Foundation includes $200,000 for Iraqi children "whose schooling was disrupted by ongoing violence," according to IRC President George Rupp.
Angelina said that these types of programs for Iraqi children are "the best way to help them heal."
Brad added, "We hope to encourage others to give to these great organizations."
Money will also go toward helping children of U.S. military personnel serving in Iraq.
While this is certainly the largest donation made by the power couple, it isn't the first. They donated more than $300,000 to Darfur refugee relief through IRC in 2007.

i think they are such great people they are always helping other countries they are a little strange but its great to see them adopting and donating money they have enough money and love to give i wish i could help more too.

Doesnt Angie do anything For the U.S.? Why always in Foreign Countries? Contributions, adoptions, is there something she has against the U.S.? There are less fortunate in the U.S. too.

Ok if she's so good at helping the less fortunate why does she always have to notify the press to let them know how much they donated. Many celebrities also donate and don't have it publish. She just does it so that she can be on the magazines.
