The anticipation at the Toronto International Film Festival was electric — and it had nothing to do with the movies. Whispers had been circulating for weeks, and now everyone was buzzing about what would happen when Jennifer Aniston finally came face to face with Brad Pitt for the first time since their bitter split.
The former spouses had already reconnected in an emotional transatlantic phone call after Jen's breakup with John Mayer. As Star reported exclusively, Jen was hurting — and Brad was there for her, offering consolation and advice. So when word spread that the two were planning to meet at the festival, speculation ran riot. Where would the rendezvous take place? What would Jen wear? Would there be tears? Hugs? A peck on the cheek?
"Jen is a very touchy-feely person," a friend of the actress tells Star. "She wanted to reach for his hand, look him in the eye and tell him thanks."
The 39-year-old actress even checked out a few restaurants where she might be able to enjoy a private dinner with her ex. "She was busy masterminding the whole evening," says the pal. "I think she might even have been romanticizing a bit, which turned out to be a big mistake!"
But the evening didn't come off the way Jen expected and the whole Toronto thing turned out to be a fiasco. What went wrong? Who is to blame? Brad made his choice as well as Jen, obviously it was not meant tobe. Brad and Angie have a lot
of input into helping other who need it. Others should follow their example. Wish them well and be happy for their family. Family should be number one -- private
Brad and Jen belong together and it would be a wonderful thing if they do, they are truly the celebrities of this whole messy thing with the rumours......they shoudl just get back together they belong together, although brad and angie did make some adorable kids.

I think that Jen & Brad belong together and I think one day they will get back together when Brad realizes that Ang is nothing but a nasty whore. I dont think that Ang really loves Brad at all.. But I sure can tell that Jen does and hopefully he will wake up & realize that one day..

First of all everyone is talking about jen like she did something wrong if so i would like to she was an innocent woman i would love to see her and brad back together i think he would to but i think hes scared to because look at the trouble he would go threw with all the kids they have. And anyways brad and angie did have an afair because angie gave birth a little after a month before the divorce was finnal. Also you would need some closer also if your husband left you and instantly had another woman then like a month later pregnant wow that would sure hurt my feeling dont have time to even get over him & remember they were married for 7 years thats a while. I like angie but not for brad shes a weirdo because she would ware her second husband blood around her neck in a vile and she was like 20 married to like a 40 year old and shes already been married 2 times and has so many kids i think brad misserible he jummped in it to fast we ont know what goes on behind closed doors!!!

wow that is so mean to say stuff about jen. jen and brad were right for each other. they were on a break and ange jumped in. the only way i see it is jen is trying to get over brad by trying to get in a relationship with someone else. it is hard to see the one you love with someone else.

Any one who agrees with angelina and Brads relationship...after knowing Angelina plotted and schemed to get Jen's than husband by not using her usual body double and sending her 'gina through the screen with a blatant "in your face" I slept with your husband? I would really have to question that person's morals and feel sorry for your significant others...
