Brad Pitt: There Was No "Dastardly Affair" with Angelina
Although Angelina Jolie has said she fell in love with Brad Pitt while he was married to Jennifer Aniston, the actor now claims that there was no "dastardly affair."
"What people don’t understand is that we filmed [Mr. & Mrs. Smith] for a year," he tells W's February issue. "We were still filming after Jen and I split up. Even then it doesn't mean that there was some kind of dastardly affair. There wasn't. I'm very proud of the way that it was handled. It was respectful."
Despite Brad's timeline, reports of love on the set started flowing months before his January 2005 split with Jen. Mr. & Mrs. Smith opened in June of that year.
Brad adds that he keeps in touch with Jen. "Listen, man, Jen is a sweetheart," Brad says to the mag. “We still check in with each other. She was a big part of my life, and me hers. I don’t see how there cannot be [that]. That’s life, man. That’s life."

Brad's only mistake was taking the rap and trying to be respectful towards Jen, he alwys wanted children, Jen agreed,until it looked like she might have an opportunity to be something beside a sit-com queen.Her career was more important that what they had planned, having a family. For years Brad talked about having kids, said he wanted a lot of little girls that looked like Jen. No, she wanted to be a big star, many other women have their career and still go ahead and have children,but not Jen,being a movie str is what she wanted. Be a decent woman and let the real truth come out Jen,you've got what you wanted, now so has Brad, quit letting him catch all the flack!

Only, Brad and the ladies know the facts on this subject. If Jen and Brad were together or not. I think Jen is a super sweet heart. You can see her big heart. She has this wonderfulness about her that glows. Angie seems to care alot for Brad and now they have a big beautiful family together. So I pray for the kids sake they all can be a wonderful happy family.I hope Brad has made the right choice! I am a big fan of Brad and Jen. And I just want them both to be happy and enjoy what life has for them both.

i love how everyone acts like they really knows what happened because of what they read in a mag or hear on t.v.! its pretty stupid if you ask me. nobody knows but them and in all honesty why does it matter.

Brad can say what he pleases, but all of us in the public recognizes what he and Angie did to Jennifer. They are not so popular in my book. I do not go to see any of their movies. Why waste money that way.
