Britney's Fans Still Adore Her -- Even If She Lip-Synchs!

Unpredictable would be the perfect title for Britney Spears' next album.

The comeback girl — looking sexy and fit, and chewing gum — played her second show in a row Wednesday night, May 2, at the House of Blues in Anaheim, CA, performing 14 minutes worth her previous hits to a sold-out crowd screaming, "Britney, Britney."

Wearing a long dark brown wig and surrounded by 4 sexy blonde dancers, Brit took the stage at 9:30 and showed off her hot bod and tight abs in a mini-mini skirt and hot pink bra-like top.

"She's back. Britney's back and she looks amazing," shouted out one excited fan.

The pop-tart performed the same line-up as she did the previous night at the House of Blues in San Diego; opening with "Hit Me Baby" and closing with "Toxic."

"I paid $400 to see this show and it was worth it. I've been a fan since Britney was the conservative, good girl. It's like we have grown up together," Brandy Garcia, 26, told Star. "I'm a single mom and it's tough, at times it can be overwhelming. I can't imagine what it would be like to be in the spotlight all the time. I'm proud of Britney. She may not be perfect, but who is?"

From eBay and CraigsList to Britney Web sites, eager fans were determined to see their favorite performer, no matter what the price or the distance.

"I drove from Phoenix," one fan told Star. "I drove from San Francisco," said another fan.

Loyal is the best way to describe Brit followers, who didn't seem to mind that Britney appeared to be lip-synching most of her songs and didn't even bother to take her chewing gum while she was on stage.

"Britney is a great performer and an incredible dancer — I don't care if she lip-synched or not," gushed Justin Quintana to Star. "If you want to see a singer, go see a Mariah Carey concert and watch her sing ballads while she sits on a chair. People love Britney because she's the best performer in the world!"

After singing... or should we say chewing her gum... Britney smiled and briefly thanked the crowd before dashing off stage.

Stay tuned for more Britney when she returns to the House of Blues Thursday night, May 3, in West Hollywood, for yet another sold out performance.
