Britney Spears Tries to Get Kids Back

Britney Spears Tries to Get Kids Back A very serious and intense looking Britney Spears entered a Los Angeles courtroom today to try to win back at least partial custody of her two young sons, Preston, 2, and Jayden, 20 months.

The pop star was accompanied by her lawyer, Blair Berk, at her side.

"Britney looked very proper," an eye witness told Star. "In fact, she looked more conservative than ever. She was wearing her hair straight down and tasteful makeup. She was dressed in a brown polka dot dress and she stood very tall with her head held high. She seemed very focused and determined.

"Following close behind Britney were her mother and father, both dressed very well, looking sharp."

Minutes earlier, a clean-shaven Kevin Federline — Britney's ex who currently has custody of the boys — entered the courtroom in a pin-striped suit with his lawyer.

The custody hearing started over an hour late due to the judge's heavy caseload.

Less than one hour after the hearings began, a break in the closed court proceedings was held. Britney and her lawyer came out of the closed doors hand in hand, with her lawyer talking and Brit listening intently.

"Britney still looked very serious and focused, nodding her head," an eyewitness told Star. "She did not look at anyone as she and Blair headed to a private bathroom. Minutes later, Brit and Berk headed back into court."

A few minutes later, there was another break in proceedings. Britney and Blair came out holding hands again. This time Britney was smiling, but her eyes were red as if she had been crying. Jamie and Lynn Spears followed close behind with K-Fed and his lawyer exiting a few minutes later."

As reported, Britney spent the weekend in Louisiana, where she attended her sister Jamie Lynn Spears' baby shower. Next week, the actress will make another guest appearance on How I Met Your Mother.

Do you think it's time Britney gets custody of her children? Weigh in.

I think it shoudl be shared custody with no child support from either parties let kevin support his children on his own.

Jani: "Mr." Federline, and I use that term so very loosely, is a Las Vegas, thrill -seeking, prostitute-loving, had nothing before Britney wannabe. He's a terrible father who is a sneak and a liar, and pushes all of her buttons to get his greedy hands on her millions. He's a piece of shit, just like my ex..lie, lie, lie.

I honestly feel Britney should never regain custody of her children. Ever since the custody was awarded to Mr. Federline things seem great for the kids. Don't get me wrong the children should continue to see their mother but, the visits should continue to be supervised. If the court does decide anything it should be to allow Britney more visitation with her children but, no custody for her.

They should let her to see her kids more, but it is still soon for having the the kids' custody back.
