Charlie Sheen's Wife Has Own Arrest Record
Following Charlie Sheen's Christmas Day arrest for alleged assault, his long history of legal troubles has been revisited. But now it appears he isn't the only one with an arrest record!
Brooke Mueller — who told police the Two and a Half Men star held a knife to her throat and threatened to kill her — was previously arrested twice herself in Florida, reports Radaronline.com.
In 1996, the mother of Charlie's now-nine-month-old twin sons, Bob and Max, was busted for DUI and damage to property. Her bad luck continued in 2001 when she was arrested again — this time for cocaine possession, a third degree felony.
While Brooke's indiscretions are no match for her husband's multiple arrests and trips to rehab, it still shines new light on her past — and possibly her recent domestic dispute, as it has been reported that Brooke's blood alcohol level at the scene registered .13, far over the legal limit in Colorado, and more than Charlie’s, which was .04.
The Colorado District Attorney has until Feb. 8 to review the case and decide whether or not to prosecute Charlie.
Meanwhile, Charlie’s second wife, Denise Richards — who has her own troubled past with him — refrained from speaking out about the Christmas incident. But after speculation that Denise's recent trip to a park with their daughters, Sam and Lola, was a photo op (to show a contrasting image to Charlie's life), Denise spoke out via Twitter.
"For all the negative nellies out there, I DID not have a f..ing photo op with my kids at a park," she tweeted. "When there is drama u get followed more."
Adding: "I genuinely love to be with my girls and don't have a nanny raising them. They are my #1 priority and always will be."
After presumably cooling down, Denise tweeted again later.
"Sorry had to vent, s*** pisses me off sometimes," she wrote. "One day... I will spill my guts about EVERYTHING."
Denise's ominous comments would likely worry Charlie — when she filed for divorce in 2005, she alleged that he abused drugs and threatened her with violence — but it seems for now he has enough to think about.
