Bruno
Rating:
Who's in it: Sacha Baron Cohen
What's it about: When Bruno (Baron Cohen), an Austrian fashion reporter, loses his job, he comes to Hollywood to try to become a star.
Gay old time: Having pranked America disguised as Borat, Sacha Baron Cohen returns in the character of Bruno, who has no clue how clueless he is. His efforts to become famous include interviewing Paula Abdul (while seated on human furniture), making a sex tape with presidential candidate Ron Paul, adopting an African child (which he names O.J.) - and then attempting to stop being gay by joining the Army and going hunting with a group of good ol' boys.
Baron Cohen will have you alternately howling with laughter and squirming in your seat with his outrageous humor and his willingness to make jokes about explicit sexuality. His ability to stay in character and spit out funny improvised lines at the same time is nothing short of remarkable. You'll die laughing - or be shocked into stunned silence.
