JOAN RIVERS TAKES MEL GIBSON TO TASK

Joan Rivers is never one to hold back, so she's not pulling any punches when it come to Mel Gibson. "He is an anti-Semitic son of a b***h," Joan tells Celebrity Week. "I think he's in vino veritas," Rivers said in response to Gibson's public apology on Good Morning America. "The hypocrisy is what I hate. You know it's all about ratings and Diane Sawyer has them all when she's married to a Jewish guy, Mike Nichols. It's ridiculous because she'll get great ratings and (Gibson) will be back in business." Rivers can next be seen in her Bravo comedy special, Joan Rivers: Before Melissa Pulls The Plug on Oct. 24.
