Christie Brinkley & Peter Cook: Back in Court!
Time hasn't healed wounds for Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook.
The former couple, whose nasty divorce trial last summer made major headlines, were at each other's throats again in court yesterday, hurling charges and counter charges of violating their settlement agreement.
In a Long Island, NY, court, lawyers for Peter — who cheated on his wife with a teenager — alleges that Christie is trying to ruin his relationship with their children, Sailor and Jack. One claim made by team Cook is that the CoverGirl model failed to hand over their son's passport for a class trip to Egypt that Peter was chaperoning, so the boy was unable to go. The architect's lawyers delivered several demands — from Christie doing jail time to her attending anger management classes.
In Christie's defense, her lawyer said that she was a few hours late providing the passport because her friend's mom died and Peter refused to pick it up from her home. The lawyer added that Peter violated the settlement by giving a TV interview to Barbara Walters and by letting his new girlfriend, Suzanne Shaw, spend time with the kids on the boat the former couple once shared. Christie's lawyer also demanded jail time for Peter as well as the sale of the boat.
While legal experts say jail time for either party is unlikely in this ongoing battle, they'll both be back in court on Tuesday.

Here is some information for you: Apparently it is because of her earlier failure to comply and ongoing interference with Cook's time with his kids, the court ordered Ms. Brinkley to have the passports delivered to Cook. And the "woman" who accompanied him with the kids on the boat was his girlfriend of over a year who he starting dating a year AFTER Brinkley filed for divorce. Nows how's this for a time line: Brinkley had an affair with Taubman while married to Joel, divorced Joel, got pregnant, married Taubman, had a child, then divorced Taubman, then starting dating Cook all in just over ONE calendar year! And Brinkley has a problem with Cook's long time girlfriend being on his boat with the kids!? You've got to be kidding. -- NYnowTELLURIDEthen
Christie the freak has been married four times. Something is wrong with her and the guys apparently see it pretty damn quick. I am sure she is the most conceited, vindictive wench going. (well, next to Kate Gosselin that is!)

whoa...you people are vicious. Christie has not made good choices in men. That said, Peter if he was unhappy needed to file for divorce rather than have an affair with a teenager and look at porn. He wanted to live financially off Christie and have the glamour couple intact.

Excuse me but I think Christie divorced that freak show over a year ago, won custody and has been livng happily ever after. If this snarling, egomaniac is unable to face the facts he needs to get some help - for the sake of his kids!
