Grey's Anatomy Star's Dog Drama
Eric Dane is having second thoughts — about a dog he and his wife, Rebecca Gayheart, rescued from an animal shelter, that is.
The Grey's Anatomy star fell in love with Nellie the pooch, but he hasn't had a good night's sleep since bringing her home because she likes to nibble on his toes while he's snoozing!
"Eric blames Nellie for his grumpiness on the set," says a source. "He's so tired these past weeks that he can't even get motivated to go to the gym."
The TV star wants to take Nellie back to the Larchmont Animal Clinic in L.A., but Rebecca has nixed the idea. Nellie is now sleeping outdoors, and rather than keeping Eric up, she's disturbing their neighbors. Says the source, "She likes to howl at the moon."
Do you think it's mean to adopt a pet and then return it? Or do you think: ya gotta do what ya gotta do? Talk back.

If this is the true, I think it is cruel to adopt a pet and want to return it just because its behavior is not convenient. Adopting a pet is a true commitments to another life and warrents attention, devotion and working with that animal to overcome its behavior/situation. I have adopted two cats and am currently hand nursing three 5 week old kittens; while working full-time. It is far from easy, but it is extremely rewarding; especially the thought of finding good homes in the future for the kittens.

All dogs can be taught lessons and this dog will have to be readjusted to her new settings. People never know what an adopted dog has been through in it's short life and need to have patience. I hate when people think of dogs as objects and not living beings with feelings and habits:(

You made a commitment to that pet and should not return it. You would not return a child because it was not "working out", would you?
-- Keep the Dog!!!
People do not believe this! It is all lies and Star should be sued. They probably will not want you to see this comment since they do not want to be called out as liars.
