Who's in it: Corbin Bleu, Penelope Ann Miller
What's it about: A would-be motocross star has to battle financial woes and his own bad temper to achieve stardom.
Flat tire: Bleu of "High School Musical" fame doesn't sing or dance here - and acting obviously isn't his strength. Plus he's stuck in a clichéd sports-movie formula, as the guy who has the talent but not the connections to achieve his dream. Can he still claw his way to the top? If you're a fan of motorcycle racing - with lots of shots of bike and rider flying off muddy moguls - then this movie might be for you, if you can stand all the melodrama that surrounds it. Still, as weak as Bleu is, he's got a sizzling costar, newcomer Sandra Echevarria. On the other hand, fans of Penelope Ann Miller ("Carlito's Way") may be disoriented when she shows up as Bleu's mother.
Long story short: This one quickly runs out of gas.
