Update: Desperate Housewives Star Doing Better After Crash
Gale Harold is improving after suffering serious injuries in a motorcycle accident.
Officials at L.A. County USC Medical Center say that the Desperate Housewives star, who was injured on Tuesday, is under observation in the intensive care unit. He had swelling on the brain and a fractured shoulder but is expected to recover.
Officials added that he will be transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center when a bed becomes available.
Gale plays the boyfriend of Teri Hatcher's character on the ABC show. On Wednesday Housewives executive producer Marc Cherry said his writers are reworking one scene to cover for Gale while he recovers.
"We're hearing he's going to be fine, but he's going to be recovering for a couple of weeks," Marc told the press.
