There Will Be More Miley Cyrus — and Hannah Montana!


Disney Channel fans can breathe a sigh of relief today with the news that Hannah Montana — and teen queen Miley Cyrus! — will be back on TV for a fourth season.

The hit sitcom — which wraps production on its third season this week — will resume filming in early 2010, but not without some major structural changes. According to a statement from the show, "Miley and the producers have proposed a change of setting for season four that will provide the catalyst for wonderful new characters and further expand the storytelling opportunities."

So what does this mean for Miley's castmates? While the pop superstar is guaranteed to stay on the show and we can't see her firing her real/real dad Billy Ray Cyrus, the same can't be said for fellow Disney stars Emily Osment and Mitchel Musso. As Miley ventures away from the show's current sunny California setting, fans will have to wait and see if her friends will follow suit.

i think she should go on with the show.. it probaly took her forever to get were she is at now.. everyone loves her kids and teens. she is a great actrist!!! she should keep it going..

OMG, i'm 14 and I've watched HM since March 26 2006 when it premiered (when i was in sixth grade) and if it's not on i'll watch it on the computer so YEAH! A 4th season & maybe a 5th? we'll see how the 4th turns out. WE CAN'T LEAVE DISNEY CHANNEL TO PHINEAS&FERB, SUITE LIFE ON DECK, WIZARDS, SONNY W/ A CHANCE & JONAS! THOSE ARE THE ONLY SHOWS THAT ARE ACTUALLY ACTIVELY FILMING! HANNAH MONTANA CAN'T LEAVE!
And if it does, Disney Channel's losing a lot of viewers. BAM!
