Heath Ledger's Hometown Honor
The late Heath Ledger is receiving yet another honor. The actor's hometown of Perth, Australia, has named an $87 million, 575-seat auditorium after their native son, calling it the Heath Ledger Theatre. Heath's father was in attendance at the dedication ceremony on Tuesday and said his son would enjoy the tribute. "He was such a giver to the arts right across the board," said Kim Ledger. "I really feel that there's not a lot of things he'd put his name to, but he'd put his name to that." Kim and several Ledger family members plan to attend the New York premiere of The Dark Knight later this month. Heath's performance as the Joker in the film is already generating posthumous Academy Award buzz.

I know that if anyone in my hometown died trajically there would be something tributed to them and there has been in the past. if he touched their lives, he touched there lives. we can't critize there reasons for remembering him.

The loss of Heath Ledger was a very sad thing. He was an amazing actor, and I think his portrayl of the Joker will never be topped. He played the Joker the way the Joker was meant to be played, no disrespect to Jack Nicholson, but come on. Also, he may have been just an actor, but why must people critisize him and his family for what they are doing in his memory? And Ava..you are a dumb bitch, I highly doubt anyone would ever want to name anything after you except maybe a new form of the clap.
