More High School Musical but No Zac!
High School Musical is coming back... but don't look for Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens or Ashley Tisdale!
Walt Disney has announced that HSM is coming back for a fourth time, but with new characters replacing Troy, Gabriella and Sharpay.
High School Musical 4 will debut on the Disney Channel in 2010, marking a return to TV after the third installment premiered in movie theaters in 2008.
HSM has been big business for Disney since the original debuted in Jan. 2006. Not only has it been seen by over 300 million viewers in more than 100 nations, it produced a hit soundtrack, a concert tour and it launched the careers of Zac, Vanessa and Ashley, who have all moved on to various other roles. However, the characters they made famous graduated at the end of HSM 3 -- and the actors made it clear that they wouldn't return for a fourth installment -- which paved the way for this introduction of new characters.
Kinda like Saved By the Bell: The New Class... without the return of Screech.

i think they should stay!there my favorite people if you see my room you will no if they come out of the movie iwont like them because there going to break my heart plus i will stop seeing high school musical and thats my favorte movie this is for vannessa,zackary,and ashley please! please! dont leave i love yall!

I think it will be a success without the original cast, but I would be surprised to see them back in high school musical 4, wuth jimmy donny and tiara, by the way do you think that troy and the gang would get along with jimmy? because i saw him and chad take donny and his clothes and ran off with them? also would they do something to hurt jimmy in high school musical 4, such as gabriella kissing jimmy in part of their plan to make one of the west high cheerleaders upset? because I would like to see that happen.
