Hilary Duff: Big Tipper Alert!
Forget frugality — for Hilary Duff, it's all about the Benjamins! The former child star never tips in ones, fives, tens or even twenties — she hands out hundreds!
After getting her hair dyed and styled at the Byron and Tracey Salon in Beverly Hills, the singer left an extra $200 on top of a $250 bill!
And it's not just at the salon that she splurges. "She slips hundreds to everyone, from valets and restroom attendants to Starbucks cashiers," says a pal, explaining that Hilary is so generous because when her mom, Susan, worked as a makeup artist she often got crummy tips.
Hilary's generosity has even rubbed off on her hockey player boyfriend, Mike Comrie, 28. "Before dating Hilary, Mike was tipping the regular 15 percent," the friend says. "Now he's up to 50 percent!"

i think the tipping hilary duff is doing very generosity but in these hard times you got to save your money i know she worth millions but being so famous as she is very expesive to maintain her tipping in my opion hundreds after hundereds is not good because she to save that money for the future she ever has kids and kids take alot of money.

i think if Hilary has that kind of money 2 be giving it way like that then maybe she should donate some of it to a homeless shelter or an orphanage.i don't mean to sound rude because im a big fan but that would be the smart and generous thin 2 do

First of all, I don't believe everything I read here. Second, if is true that she really tip that much to EVERYONE that serve her, then that is throwing money away, not called generosity. Because if I have hundreds to just give away, I would just give away to anyone that needs help.

WHY would anyone put her down for sharing her good fortune with people (such as a waitress) who really needs the money, versus paying some (who knows what) $2000.00 for a pair of shoes? Good Karma will follow someone like her, AND I AM GLAD IT DOES.
