Jennie Garth's Back-To-School Woes
School is back in session for Jennie Garth!
The 90210 star plays a high school guidance counselor on TV but in real life, her toughest job is taking care of her three daughters, Luca, 12, Lola, 6, and Fiona, 2.
"I can never seem to provide enough socks for my kids," the actress joked at Save The Children's Back-To-School Program at T.J. Maxx on Aug. 6. "I don't know if the washing machine eats them or if they just magically disappear somewhere between the car and the house."
Luckily, Jennie says dressing her kids is easy because her oldest wears a uniform to school and her middle child loves anything pink and sparkly. "It could cost $1.99 or $200 and she wouldn't care!"
The hard part will be sending baby Fiona off to Pre-K this fall. "I am the mom that stays in the back hiding. She's going to school where my other two daughters went to school, and they let me stay as long as I need to," says Jennie. "It's not even about Fiona, it's about me and getting through my separation issues."

I've never been a particular fan of Ms. Garth, I do enjoy her show but never followed her career. Something about the comments she made in this interview struck home with me, however. I have a new found respect for her, and think that she probably is a terrific mother. It's wonderful how candid she is about her children, she didn't really say much, but what she did say was honest and heartfelt, Good for You Jennie!!! And thanks for being such a caring parent!!
