Portia & Ellen Celebrate the Holidays at Jennifer Aniston's New Home
Jennifer Aniston isn't too busy promoting Marley & Me that she can't have fun!
Jen threw a holiday/housewarming party at her new Beverly Hills mansion on Sunday. The guest list included Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi and Tobey Maguire and his pregnant wife, Jennifer Meyer.
"Jen always throws a holiday party early because she likes to go away for Christmas to someplace warm," a friend of the actress tells Star. "This year she has lots to celebrate. Her new movie looks great and she just moved into her new Beverly Hills home after a year of remodeling. Now she gets to show off her new kitchen, artist's studio, screening room and pool."
The catered event included vegan food because many of her friends — Tobey and Portia for instance — don't consume animal products. A lot of people brought treats as well — like cakes and cupcakes.
"Jennifer doesn't ask for presents for herself," adds the friend, "but a lot of people bring ornaments for the big Christmas tree she has every year. She especially likes it when you make an ornament yourself. Jen Meyer always has something special to hang on the tree and she would, being a jewelry designer.
The day before her bash, Jen was hard at work — along with Owen Wilson and Eric Dane — promoting Marley & Me at a press junket for the film, which was held at the Four Seasons. The flick hits theaters on Dec. 25.
