Star Told You First: Jennifer & John to Attend Oscars Together
They're going public on the biggest night in Hollywood!
Last month we gave you the exclusive scoop that Jen will be presenting at the Oscars on Sunday and she planned to bring her extra-special publicity-grabbing accessory: her boyfriend John. Now, the singer confirms that he'll be Jen's arm candy for the night.
"I'm going to the Oscars," John tells PopSugar.com. "It's my first Oscars. And it's my first being an Oscar boyfriend."
We also reported that John is the one who encouraged Jen to attend the Academy Awards in the first place. After all, her ex-husband, Brad Pitt, and his girlfriend, Angelina Jolie, are both nominees (for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Changeling), so it's largely viewed as their night.
"You've got to go," John told Jen, according to his friend. "Why do you hide in this town? You have every reason to be there. By presenting at the Oscars, you'll tell the world: 'I don't care about Brad and Angie. I belong here, too.' Jen is taking back ownership of her life. She's gotta move on from this Brad and Angie thing. This is the perfect time, and I'll be there to protect her."

It's hard to get over something when it's in the damn papers everyday. Who cares about Brangelina? I sure as heck don't. What they did to Jen was wrong. And, the comment Angelina made about Mr and Mrs. Smith was totally uncalled for. No one deserves to be humiliated the way Jen was.

OMG! Will she ever move on with her life?My God!The divorce was 3 or 4 years ago and Brad moved on why can't she do the same? She's only puting herself outhere because she's desperate. Sicken to death hearing about her pathetic-fake relationship with John Mayor.
