Jessica Simpson's Tees Off PETA
Jessica Simpson has started a meat brawl.
While out with off-again/on-again beau Tony Romo, the singer was photographed wearing a T-shirt with the words "Real Girls Eat Meat" across her chest. Soon after there was speculation that Jess wore the tee to, um, tee off Tony's ex-Carrie Underwood, who's a vegetarian. Whether or not it was a message to the country singer, PETA — who crowned Carrie one of the World's Sexiest Vegetarians in 2007 — is fired up about Jessica's top.
"What's her next t-shirt going to say, 'Got Breast Cancer?'" asks a PETA rep. "We're guessing neither shirt would go over well with the breast cancer charities she has lent her name to since women who eat meat are far more likely to develop the disease than women who don't. We're rushing Jessica one of our Vegetarian Starter Kits, which [has] so many delicious veggie recipes that she'll change her tune on eating meat faster than you can say 'veggie burger.'"
If Jess did wear the shirt as a message to Carrie, this isn't the first time a celeb has worn her feelings on her chest. Julia Roberts famously donned a handmade tee that said "A Low Vera" when her now-hubby, Danny Moder's then-wife, Vera, was reluctant to grant him a divorce. And Britney Spears once declared herself "No Pushover" shortly after serving her mother, Lynne, with papers ordering her to keep away from her kids.

obviously. She said that what carrie said in her article wasnt true and that she didnt know carrie was a vegetarian. Carrie is open in almost all of her articles about her vegetarianism . Well Jessica admitted to reading her allure article so i'm sure that it's not the only one she's read.
