Jon & Kate Plus 8 on Hiatus!
Jon & Kate Plus 8 is going on hiatus! Just one day after Jon and Kate Gosselin announced their separation on Monday night's episode, comes news the hit TLC show is taking a break from production.
No new episodes will air until August 3, the Los Angeles Times reports. "People close to the show say the desire to take a production break came from the network," the Times reports — not the family.
TLC originally planned to air 40 new episodes this season. No word on if that number will be reduced, or if the season will be extended.
Meanwhile, both Jon and Kate have released statements in regard to their split. Kate said, "Over the course of this weekend, Jon's activities have left me no choice but to file legal procedures in order to protect myself and our children. While there are reasons why it was appropriate and necessary for me to initiate this proceeding, I do not wish to discuss those reasons at this time, in the hope that all issues will be resolved amicably between Jon and myself. As always, my first priority remains our children."
Jon said, "This afternoon, Kate filed for divorce. Our kids are still my number one priority. I love them and want to make sure they stay happy, healthy and safe. My job is being the best, most supportive and loving father that I can be to my kids, and not being married to Kate doesn’t change that."

The kids cannot pick who they wanna live w/ they are under aqe! && thats ridiculous Kate can be bossy but shes got 8 kids shes gotta stay on track. Idk who to believe anymore

the kids should go with jon...kate is kinda bossy and jon is a cool father thats relaxed and not mean and stuff like that im srry but kate is to much of a bossy mom...but the kids should pick wat parent they want to stay with and i think they would like to go with there dad!!!!

im really tired of it all being john being the bad guy in this whole situation. kate is as wrong as he is, and for all their talk about how they are all about the kids neither one is thinking of the kids and doing what needs to be done for them. NOT once has it been said they will get help for these kids meaning therapy to help them adjust or kate and john see a therapist sheeesh its all about the buck they really need to get the divorce and get a grip and for goodness sakes someone please get them kids some help in dealing with all this they are really going to need some!!!!

the kid should pick what parentst they want to go to. but i think they should all go to jon he is the better parent. it looks like kate dont care about any thing but the money she just want the kid so she can get all the money and the "kids house" 4 herself. WHAT A BICTH
