Idol's Kara DioGuardi Gets Hitched
Kara DioGuardi isn't just the newest judge on American Idol — she's also the newest bride!
The music producer and her longtime boyfriend, Mike McCuddy, tied the knot Sunday in Prospect Harbor, Maine. The guest list was narrowed down to 30 of the couple's closest friends and relatives — a far cry from the 28 million who watched her strip down to a bikini during the Idol finale in May — and the ceremony lasted just 20 minutes.
Noticeably absent from the ceremony were the bride's Idol coworkers — judges Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul, and host Ryan Seacrest — but Kara has a perfectly good excuse for leaving them out.
"I don't think they'd appreciate an invitation to Prospect Harbor, Maine," Kara said back in June. "I can't really see Simon Cowell landing in Prospect Harbor. I don't think that would happen."
Kara and her new husband got engaged in December during a vacation in Mexico.

I love Kara. I don't agree that she's annoying and that she doesn't mix with the other judges. I think she is a GREAT judge for American Idol. I'm not gonna diss her like all these other rude people on here. I hope her marriage works out. I know it will.

I have a hard time understanding how anyone thinks that they could live with this woman.My guess is her marriage won't last long....she's got an over inflated opinion of herself and her importance, tries to sound like an authority, which she plainly isn't, is arrogant, self-centered, and beyond obnoxious. She doesn't know when to shut up...she obviously likes to hear herself talk. She doesn't really "fit" with the rest of the judges and most of us are hard pressed to make sense out of WHY they hired her in the first place.

I think Kara knows much more about the technical in's and out's about singing, musicality and how much potential someone has. I think it's time to ditch Paula. She's struggles too much to praise people with no talent!
