Katie Holmes: Broadway Bound?
Katie Holmes could be heading to New York! According to the U.K.'s Daily Mail, Holmes is in final negotiations to make her Broadway debut in a revival of the Tony award winning play All My Sons.
Holmes, who is reportedly taking part in a private workshop of the play in May, would star alongside acting heavyweights like John Lithgow and Dianne Wiest in the post-WWII drama if she accepts the role on Broadway.
Is Broadway a good move for Katie? Would you rather see her do a different play, or maybe even a musical? Send us your comments below!

Maybe she has the talent, but she definitely needs coaching. I remember when Mary Tyler Moore came to Broadway without any coaching and she flopped, despite being a good film/tv performer. Stage is very, very different from TV...no re-takes and no second chances. Mary regained her reputation after performing in a movie that Robert Redford directed. He is one director who really understands the film medium and knows how to bring out the best in an actor...very similar to Woody Allen and his effect on his female actors. Woody Allen has some ethics problems and Robert Reddford has gone on to fostering new talent. As for Katie, she should try to get one of the coaches from Joe Papp and then she might be successful. Otherwise, she stands to loose ground. Go for it Katie, but be smart. As for Suri, look at Jayne Seymour who know how to raise kids while working on a set. She stays very involved with her kids, but she finds her space to work.

Wow! People need to have a two way relationship, when only one is making all the calls, the end is usually not far off.

I think she needs to get away from controlling Tom. Who needs a life in a simi-prison...but that is what that CULT does to you! Another control religion is all it is.

shame , shame on all of you. What was Sally field doing on TV sitcoms huh guess what she won a Academy Award, what about another Acedemy Award winner Reese Witherspoon what types of movies character was she portraiting. Give the Katie a chance you might be surprise.

I think it would be good for Katie to do this- get away from Tom for some of the time, and do something on your own. This would definitely be a good move.
-- Go for it, Katie
