Kiefer Sutherland: I Regret Head-Butting Incident
Regrets... Kiefer Sutherland's had a few.
While appearing on Thursday's Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, the 24 briefly spoke about the alleged head-butting incident that landed him assault charges earlier this month.
"The last time I saw you, we went out to dinner and then... what happens?" Jimmy laughs. "I just want to know, how close was I from being on the receiving end?"
"No — not even close," Kiefer replied. "We can joke about it, I guess, but it's something I really regret having happened."
Kiefer is accused of breaking the nose of Proenza Schouler designer Jack McCollough. While the men were at a Met Costume Gala afterparty on May 5, McCollough allegedly bumped into Brooke Shields while Kiefer and the actress were talking. Kiefer is said to have flown into a "vicious" rage. He was surrendered to the NYPD and was charged with misdemeanor assault.
After breaking the ice, Jimmy continued to joke about the incident with Kiefer, asking: "Do you think that you're Jack Bauer?"
"Absolutely not, absolutely not," Kiefer replied. "I learned that really clearly the first season."
Kiefer will appear in Manhattan Criminal Court on June 22 to answer to the charges.

Kiefer is a true Canadian, hit first ask questions later. I love this guy. Good for him he doesn't need to take shit from anyone and after all he was just being a gentleman regarding Brooke, we don't know the whole story about what lead up to him getting him getting a shot from Keifer.
