Lauren Conrad Dropped By Teen Vogue!

The Hills are alive with unemployment! Lauren Conrad, the star of MTV's reality show, has been dropped as an intern by Teen Vogue. Women's Wear Daily reports Conrad and her friend Whitney Port have parted ways with the magazine.

Neither MTV officials nor Teen Vogue would comment on why they split, but insiders say it's likely both Conrad and Port will be featured in some another job next season — but probably not at a magazine.

"The average age of the magazine's readership is 16 — do they really want to support the behavior depicted [in The Hills]?," said one source. "They also started to see that newsstand sales were flat... there was no blip on the radar when Lauren and Whitney were involved."
