Mandy Moore had some explaining to do after telling her mother, Stacy, about her latest squeeze. Mama Moore thought her little girl was dating rocker Bryan Adams, who, at 48, is twice Mandy's age.
"She told Mandy she loves his song 'Summer of '69,' " a source tells Star.
Mandy had to put Mom straight. Yes, he's a singer, but his name is Ryan Adams — and he—s much closer to her age, at only 33!
