Mario's New Girlfriend: His Mom Approves!
Talk about tough love! Mario Lopez, 36, admits that his mom, Elvia, is “very particular” about the women he dates.
So he must have been thrilled that she and his girlfriend, Broadway babe Courtney Mazza, got along splendidly when the three recently dined at Suite & Tender in the Sé San Diego Hotel.
“Everyone was laughing and having a good time,” says an eyewitness. “There was never an awkward moment.”
The happy trio lingered for two hours, dining on yummy eats including macaroni and cheese with cheddar sausage and sautéed wild sea bass — and Elvia gave Courtney a big hug and a kiss goodbye!

Courtney got one gig interviewing boxers on HBO. Once. She is trying to get into hosting like Mario. Other than that, she is not doing anything.
Since moving to California, she has done nothing else. My guess is, with no support, she lives with Mario and he will probably marry her eventually. -- Beth

Karina Smirnoff had just started Dancing and was not well known until Mario started dating her and made her famous. Courtney is not known in Hollywood (New York yes) so he is doing the same with her-making her famous in Ca. She is not doing anything in movies or plays so he must be supporting her and they do probably live together.
