Spice Girl Pregnant
Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm is sporting a baby bump.
The singer known as Sporty Spice and her longtime boyfriend, Thomas Starr, announced the pregnancy on her Web site earlier today.
"Some happy news," Mel C. wrote. "I can now announce that Tom and I are expecting a baby and we are very happy."
Mel C. is the last of the Spice Girls to start a family — Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton all have children.
The singer says she plans to take some time off when the baby arrives, but she'll continue to sing.
"I will need to take some time off to be a mum," she added. "But, before you know it, we'll be back."
