Tim Burton's eagerly anticipated Alice in Wonderland just released their first trailer this week, featuring a cast of A-list actors who will color the classic tale.

Australian newcomer Mia Wasikowska, 20, plays Alice with an all-star cast of Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Crispin Glover and Anne Hathaway.

Mia, who will also play Jane in 2011's Jane Eyre, gets her big break with Alice. Previously she could be seen on HBO's In Treatment, where she played Sophie, a patient of Gabriel Byrne's psychotherapist, during the series' debut season in 2008.

The former ballet dancer, who beat out many other actresses vying to play the classic Alice, was named one of Variety magazine's Top Ten Actors to watch in 2008 and already has a fan in her acclaimed Alice director.

"We met a lot of people," Tim said of casting Mia, "but she just had that certain kind of emotional toughness, standing her ground in a way that makes her kind of an older person with a younger person's mentality."

As for Mia, it's so early in her career, she says, she just enjoys getting glam and walking the red carpet. "It's not something that I do every day, so it's fun," she told Collider.com.

She is beautiful, talented, wealthy and has a great career ahead of her, while those here posting jealous criticisms of her will continue to sit miserably behind their computers and wish they were half as successful as her.

She looks like she'll be good in the movie. I like that she's a newcomer. I feel like the same actresses always play the parts so it's a nice change.
