First Knock-Off of Michelle Obama's Inauguration Ball Dress
Now you can dress like the First Lady!
The one-shouldered, full-length white gown — designed by Jason Wu — that Michelle Obama wore to 10 inaugural balls on Tuesday night already has an affordable knock-off. The clothing site
The Wall Street Journal reported Wu's evening wear typically sells for $3,000 to $6,000 though the designer has no plans to reproduce versions for sale. In fact, the dress — that Wu fronted the cost of himself — is being donated to the Smithsonian, which collects First Ladies' inaugural ball gowns.
"This can't be replicated — it will never appear in any form in my collection," he told the WSJ. "It has to be special."

With our country in the economic crisis it is in at this time wouldn't it behoove First Lady Michelle Obama to tone down her spending towards fashion? She should focus more on the crisis and how it is affecting the american people then she is on focusing on her closet.
