New Gig for Miley Cyrus
Forget Hannah Montana, Miley Cyrus is ready to spread her wings! The teen pop icon is set to star in a new film called Wings.
Disney is teaming with the producers of Twilight to make Aprilynne Pike's young adult novel into a movie, according to Variety.
Miley will play Laurel, a home-schooled 15-year-old who discovers she's not like other kids when she attends a public high-school. Turns out she's a fairy!
Miley's mom Tish is set to executive produce the flick which has franchise possibilities since three more books are expected to follow the original bestseller.
