Mischa Barton Sued for Not Paying Her Rent!

January 22, 2010

It's a new year and there are new problems for Mischa Barton.

The actress — who spent part of 2009 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on an involuntary psychiatric hold — is now being sued by her landlord for not paying her rent. She owes three months of rent — $21,300 — alleges her landlord, MRA Realities, in papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court.

Mischa relocated to NYC from L.A. to film her TV series The Beautiful Life — which was canceled after two episodes — and signed a one-year lease for a $7,000-a-month luxury loft in TriBeCa.

“She lived there for September and October, then moved out and quit paying," MRA's lawyer Joseph Burden said.

And in addition to her recent legal issues, Mischa is being slammed for her unprofessionalism while filming a guest spot earlier this week for Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Known for her hard partying habits, sources say Mischa kept forgetting her lines and the show’s cast and crew were losing their patience.

when are producers going to realize this person is a HAS BEEN! she is not the least talented. There are hundreds if not thousands that could easily replace her in any role. all the troubled actors should be shown the door and let someone else get a chance.

Why does anyone still hire her? She's a washed up loser obviously... Get a life Mischa you aren't better than everyone else!

I guess reality hasn't bitten her hard enough. She has to sink to the lowest depths to get her act together. She obviously is a spoiled brat who never grew up.
