Natasha Richardson's Family in Vigil at NYC Hospital
Members of Natasha Richardson's family gathered at a New York City hospital where the Tony-winning actress was said to be taken with a head injury after a ski accident.
A source told Star that Natasha, accompanied by husband Liam Neeson, was transported from a Canada hospital to New York on Tuesday afternoon. Last night, her actress mother, Vanessa Redgrave,was photographed entering Lenox Hill Hospital. Also there were two boys, identified as her sons Micheal Neeson and Daniel Jack Neeson, and her TV-star sister, Joely Richardson, appeared on the verge of tears when she arrived.
Though there's been no statement by her family or the hospital, The New York Times reported earlier today that Natasha's condition is "very serious" and our source says her family is "worried sick." A reporter from the Toronto Star reported seeing a distraught Liam in the back of an ambulance at Montreal's Sacre-Coeur hospital while Natasha, who was wrapped in blankets and had tubes covering her face, was loaded inside.
Natasha, who has appeared in films including The Parent Trap, Evening and Maid in Manhattan, fell during a ski lesson at Mont Tremblant in Quebec on Monday. A statement from the resort said she fell on a beginners trail and later reported not feeling well. She was not wearing a helmet.
