Amy Winehouse's Husband Barely Escapes Death!
Amy Winehouse's hubby, Blake Fielder-Civil, came close to death this weekend when he overdosed on drugs in prison. After finding Blake, 25, vomiting violently in his cell, guards set off alarms and initiated emergency procedures to save his life.
"This was a close call, but he might not be so lucky next time," a source told U.K.'s News of the World. An investigation later showed that Blake, along with six other prisoners took the drug in G Wing of north London's Pentonville prison, had taken a drug believed to be heroin, mixed with a toxic substance. Within a few moments all prisoners were sick.
"If he carries on taking so many drugs, he'll end up dead before long," adds the source.
Since in prison, Blake has failed three random drug tests, landing him a spot in solitary confinement. Though the punishment didn't help, as he reportedly was back to looking for his next fix.
"He's being very stupid. It's only because everyone reacted so quickly that this dodgy gear didn't do long-term harm," says a source.
