NO WONDER REESE DUMPED RYAN!
Reese Witherspoon has separated from her husband, actor Ryan Phillippe. "We are saddened to announce that Reese & Ryan have decided to formally separate," publicist Nanci Ryder — who reps both Reese and Ryan — tells Star. "They remain committed to their family and we ask that you please respect their privacy and the safety of their children at this time."
Witherspoon, an Oscar winner for Walk The Line, and Phillippe, who starred in Crash, have been married seven years and have two children. Divorce papers have not been filed yet, but TMZ reports Witherspoon has contacted celebrity divorce lawyer Robert Kaufman, who represented Jennifer Aniston in her divorce from Brad Pitt.

As the nation mourns the demise of couple's star-crossed marriage (Not! These two were definitely hard to warm up to), The National Enquirer is reporting the reason behind their split after seven years of wedded hit-and-miss.

"They asked for the restaurant staff to pull curtains around their table, so no one could see them," says the source.
The Enquirer then cites an unconfirmed blog poster who says "As we left, we could see them clearly making out behind the partition."
