BRITNEY'S A GAP GIRL!
Britney Spears may be in a thrifty phase as she prepares to protect her millions from her soon-to-be ex-husband, Kevin Federline! The proof? Just after the news broke Tuesday, Nov. 8, about Britney's split from K-Fed, Spears skipped the hundreds of posh boutiques and department stores New York City has to offer — and instead hit The Gap!
Gap employee Sean Krebs tells Star that Britney, "was in a very good mood. She was all-smiles — polite and friendly to everyone. We had absolutely no idea that anything was going on in her personal life."
Brit then donned a few of her Gap finds for an impromptu skate at the ice rink at Rockefeller Center. Her total take included:
-- Striped sweater (wore skating)
-- Audrey Hepburn black Skinny Pants (wore skating)
-- White knit cap (wore skating)
-- Underwear (not thongs — lace trim)
-- PJ pants — turquoise with red rose print
