Newly-single Britney Spears headed home to Kentwood, Louisiana, with her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James this past weekend to visit an ill relative, Star has exclusively learned. "She came to town because she has a relative down here who she's very close to and who is very ill," a source in Kentwood, tells Star. "Britney was worried about her and wanted her kids to see her."
And in an exclusive interview with Star, Britney's grandfather June Austin Spears, says that Britney also brought along a hearty appetite! "We all had dinner at Nyla's on Saturday night," Spears tells Star, referring to the Brit's favorite restaurant in nearby Osyka, Miss. "We had everything, frogs legs, shrimp, catfish and oysters. It was real good!"
Brit's Grandpa gushed to Star, "She looked real good. She was in a good mood, laughing and joking around a lot." And Nyla Price, the owner of Nyla's echoed the elder Spears, telling Star, "Britney looked great — and her kids are so cute! I think Britney's doing really good; she's not letting this divorce thing get her down!"
