BRITNEY AND PARIS TAKE OVER L.A. PARTY SCENE
Move over, Lindsay — Britney Spears and new sidekick Paris Hilton have taken over L.A.'s club scene! On Nov. 21, Brit hit Paris' post-American Music Awards house party wearing jeans, a "Little Miss Sunshine" T-shirt, Dolce & Gabbana wedge shoes and a Dolce & Gabbana coat. She left the party wearing a midriff-bearing, aqua colored outfit.
The next day, Britney went shopping for baby items in Santa Monica at the Right Start with her agent, and stopped by chicken purveyor Koo-Koo-Roo for lunch.
That night, Brit was back with Paris. While Kevin Federline played to a less than impressed audience at L.A.'s House of Blues, the ladies were partying at Hyde, then went to the Roosevelt Hotel's Teddy's, where Brit wore a Dolce & Gabbana leopard print dress.
On Nov. 24, Britney and Paris hit Bella restaurant at 9:30 p.m. for dinner, where Brit rocked a black, micro-miniskirt. After dinner, they headed to Les Deux. A spy tells Star, "As soon as the girls sat down, they started doing shots — they had bottles of Patron and Grey Goose at their table!"
An eyewitness tells Star, "Earlier in the night, Britney was socializing with a mystery guy. They were having drinks at the table, and then Paris took charge of the group. Paris and Britney started dancing together and didn't stop — they almost looked as if they were into each other!"
Lindsay Lohan came in around the same time — but the girls avoided each other. After dancing on the seat in her booth and saying hi the DJ, Lindsay quietly left the club less than an hour after she arrived.
Brit and Paris, however, had no intention of calling it a night. They were spotted by Travis Barker and Wilmer Valderama, who joined the girls. David Katzenberg and Brody Jenner also stopped by. Paris' sister Nicky Hilton also came by the girls' VIP booth throughout the evening — as did Nicky's ex, Kevin Connolly!
The girls clearly enjoyed themselves — they shut the place down! Their group was the last to leave, well past 2 a.m.
On Nov. 25, after a shopping trip with Sean Preston, the two partied again at Hyde, joined by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. A source says that Paris was "acting like Britney's boyfriend... she opened doors for her, held her hand, and had her arm around Britney's back." And it was attention that Brit readily accepted!
