SEX AND THE CITY MOVIE BACK ON?
Since the show ended in 2004, rumors have swirled about the making of a Sex and the City movie, and finally, Kim Cattrall tells Star that fans may get their Christmas wish this year — the movie may be back on!
"Yes, I've been away for 3 and half months doing a play in London and I come home and there is all this excitement. It's in the hands of the studio, and the agents, and the lawyers and we'll hope for the best," says Cattrall. Cattrall's rep confirms to Star that the studio has approached Kim and she has expressed interest in the film, but the film, for now, is not official.
Though there have been reports that the Sex and the City film was unable to pick up speed because of behind-the-scenes drama between the actresses (Catrall reportedly refused to appear in the film), Kim was all smiles at the Young Collector's Artist Ball at New York's Guggenheim Museum. Catrall tells Star. "I'm just so glad we haven't been missed or forgotten!"
