VINCE HEADS BACK TO L.A. -- WAS JEN IN MEXICO?

Her newly ex-boyfriend, Vince Vaughn, was there. Her best friends, Courteney Cox-Arquette and husband David Arquette, were there..."there" being the Beverly Hills Hotel over Christmas weekend. But Jennifer Aniston appeared to be keeping out of sight.
Vaughn, 36, took a break from filming the comedy movie Fred Claus in England and took a British Airways jet into Los Angeles International Airport on the afternoon of Saturday, Dec. 23. An eyewitness tells Star that, like most celebrities and VIPs arriving and departing from the international terminal, Vince was escorted by airport police through a private entrance, ushered through immigration, and out a side-door to his waiting private transportation. “Vince was wearing blue jeans, dark-brown leather shoes, a gray Chicago Bears T-shirt, and a black baseball cap with the red lettering ‘A&E Productions,’ ” the eyewitness says. “He looked a little tired and weary from the long flight.”
Vaughn moved quickly toward a new, black Ford Excursion luxury SUV, with tinted windows and chrome wheels. “The driver was standing at the opened rear door, and Vince was inside in about two seconds flat,” the eyewitness says. By 4:15 p.m., Vince was motoring northbound on the 405 freeway towards Beverly Hills where, another eyewitness says, his SUV turned into the valet-parking area of the Beverly Hills Hotel. "No one saw Vince again at the hotel for the rest of the day," the eyewitness adds.
The following day, Sunday, Dec. 24, Courtney, 42, and David, 35, made an appearance at the Beverly Hills Hotel for a poolside brunch of salads and chicken breast, says an eyewitness. They were with two acquaintances -- neither of whom was closest friend Aniston. It seems that Jen, 37, was keeping a low profile the entire weekend...possibly south of the border, as one report claimed she was spending the Christmas holiday in Mexico! Jen was spotted returning to her Malibu home on Tuesday, December 26th.
